Levantine is a family-owned and operated Syrian restaurant proudly serving the Oakville community. Our story began in early 2019, when our family moved to Canada with a dream of sharing the authentic Syrian flavors we grew up with, food that brings people together and feels like home.

Our journey wasn’t without challenges. During the construction phase in 2020, the pandemic brought unexpected delays and hardships. Despite the uncertainty, our family remained committed to our vision and to introducing our cuisine to the community we now call home.

In November 2021, amid ongoing pandemic shutdowns, Levantine officially opened its doors. Opening during such a difficult time required resilience, passion, and faith, but our love for Syrian food and hospitality pushed us forward.

At Levantine, everything we serve is 100% halal and prepared fresh in-house every day. From our creamy hummus and crispy falafel to the carefully marinated chicken for our shawarma, each item is made from scratch using traditional recipes, quality ingredients, and time-honored techniques.
